Beth and her staff are super friendly on the phone, and in person. She talks a good talk. She reassured me they inspect their properties regularly, and would use my home warranty for all repairs. They also said they had plenty of clients looking for these houses. If that was the case, then why did it take them almost 3 months to find a renter when all the other houses were rented in my complex within 30 days by other agencies. After 45 days, I asked Beth if she had posted a flyer in the main clubhouse of my complex, and there was total silence on the other end of the line. I truly wish their services would have reflected these promises. I thought I was getting a professional team that would earn the "management" fee I pay each month, but that has not been the case. From the beginning, I had to rewrite the abysmal ad, take new interior and exterior pictures, and micromanage each and every detail. They put my tenant into an 11.5 month lease at $5 less per month without my permission, or apparently, even her knowledge. This cost me an extra $755 which doesn't seem to concern them. I discovered the property was rented because the complex administration called me to check on the new tenant. I was never informed by Beth. To this day, I don't know if the tenant's credit was checked. They offered no information about the tenant even after repeated requests. My accountant had to contact them to correct their bookkeeping records, they have not been to inspect the house to the best of my knowledge since they signed the lease, and made some flimsy excuse as to why they didn't use the warranty insurance company when they got a plumber to fix my toilet. I think they forgot, but their negligence cost me $300 and the toilet wasn't repaired properly. They should have had to pay that. After finally getting to speak to Beth about this issue, she was confrontational and rude after I didn't accept her excuses for this overcharge. They have been so unresponsive to both my tenant and me that I have been dealing directly with the tenant for the past four months. The bills don't get paid properly, but they always make sure to take out their fees on time. The last time I contacted them about not paying the gardener, Beth sent me a curt response informing me my contract with them would be up Sept 15th. Regardless of the wonderful reviews I see here on Yelp, neither my tenant nor I have been impressed with their so called "services." I was just looking at the lease contract, and they misinformed the tenant regarding parking privileges also. This is clear evidence they didn't bother to read the CC&Rs for our country club. I am glad to have this nightmare over, and would strongly advise anyone thinking about employing them to run!!!! They may be great at managing homes within a 5 mile radius of their office, but I would never hire someone out of the area regardless of how many assurances they promised. They are just not equipped to handle anything outside of their comfort zone.

I wouldn't trust my property in Riverside with anyone else but Real Property Management! Karen is such a delight to talk to, and has the best customer service. Kristen makes sure all the bills are paid on time for my houses utilities and explains everything in great detail so I know where my money is going. Beth, the owner, also checks on my house frequently and contacts me as soon as there is any issue. Thank you for being such a delight to work with!
