Helpful, professional company. Negative reviews could be more related to individual owner (landlord) or community (HOA) rules, than the company. They are not a flashy organization with prices to match. As far as I know, they are not into ripping people off. I've had a few times where i pay HOA fees in advance and once there was a late fee, but they agreed to waive it because i paid so far in advance. I have had it where I get there right at closing time and they still help me, staying a few minutes after closing to finish up. I really appreciate their straight forward communication. If they can help, they will. They are a property management company, so know that they are between the tenant and landlord. Landlords hire them to be that buffer and take care of the property. They also work with HOAs, so if something is in the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) and they are enforcing them, then they're doing their job. If an occupant does not like the CC&Rs where they live, then they should probably move.
Keep all reviews of property management companies with a grain of salt and be able to read between the lines. Does the reviewer only write negative reviews? Is this review (good or bad) the only review the reviewer has written? I saw one where the review seemed legit, but read more the reviewers history and he reviewed a Wal-Mart and said there was nothing there! Lol
Holly at RPM has been amazing to my family and myself since I even looked at the property I am in now. She worked with us on the deposit and all that even though my partner and I had very different incomes at the time of application. Holly even helped us when I accidentally put in the wrong information for payment which got declined and called me right away when it updated on their side and gave me a chance immediately to fix it. I have had quick responses to any maintenance issues I’ve had in my home (which has only been like one, the other was a fluke and she was so awesome about it) . It’s a great property for a small family like us and an amazing price in this market for what it is !
