I wish they would hire more pharmacy staff, it seems like everytime I go to pick up a prescription it's lined up pretty much to the front door.
Edit #1 - Again lined up all the way down the isle.
Edit #2 -Tried contacting via the app while in line and the form doesn't seem to be working and customer care is closed. There are also 2 very disgruntled people in line.
Edit #3 - another 1/2 hour wait - reducing to one star as there are multiple staff behind the counter but only one at the 3 tills

I moved to freeland in May, and had one month of Rite aid being my go to for necessities. Then, it seemed like a store rework was in progress (yay). But, things are constantly being moved around, and they have maybe 10% of the stock they used to. I went in today to pick up scripts, after a 25 minute wait, I find out they aren't ready. I've waited an average of 45 minutes each month, and can no longer rely on this store to have basic needs like ibuprofen, or if I need an Rx for injuries, I just suck it up, because I can't physically wait in line like that. With no drive thru and short staff, this store could close at this point and no one would miss it. I don't trust them to have what I need, Rx or not, and I've transferred my Rx to another pharmacy in Coupeville (not rite aid). Yes, I'd rather drive than be trapped with this option. The only bright side I see is that soon, enough people will leave the store so that older members of our community might get better service instead of settling for this mess.

Timeline goes like. Its 1.5 weeks left of a prescription. Needed to transfer the prescription from another pharmacy. We submit the request online. Four days pass, no word, we call in and they say "we have the transfer just wait for it to be filled". I call back two days later "it has not yet transferred" read that they haven't even contacted my old pharmacy yet. Three days later I call back, and apparently because of a "store-wide issue" they are "unable to transfer any prescription" because they "cannot send or receive faxes". We are now out of the prescription and the other pharmacy has closed for the week. The people working at rite aid had no intention of informing us of this. They acted surprised that the transfer request was something they were supposed to honor. They told me to call another pharmacy, which i clearly should have done at the very beginning. Never have I seen such blatant disregard for patients, especially new ones. Avoid at all costs.
