Happy Hanukkah! Rittler Park was the site for the 5th annual celebration of Chanukah and the lighting of the Menorah. I have never attended this type of cultural event. It was interesting to learn what lighting of the Menorah meant for the Jewish community. Light a candle to bring us out of darkness, to give us hope, faith, love and to be optimistic despite what is occurring these days in this country and the world.

Aside from the celebration, this park also holds many soccer games for children. I don't visit this park on a regular basis, but I imagine there are activities for families to enjoy.
