For some reason – like so many people in San Francisco – , the hiring manager, Annalisa, lies about my job application. I've applied 5 times for the same position and yet application is not showing up. I was hired in August 2024 for the same position to which I applied. I only worked 3 days when the corporate office decided to suddenly end the season, so I was let go because I was a seasonal employee. Now, the manager doesn't want to hire. When I ask, she tells me not to call simply because she can't do her job. Here's how the conversation goes: "I'm asking about my application." "You haven't applied." "I did apply. Multiple times." "Well, you're not showing up in the system." "I just applied yesterday." "Okay, bye."
Very rude. Not helpful. Inexperienced manager. Doesn't like to communicate with Americans (Annalisa is Asian). Putting an individual job seeker out of a potential job.
Not to mention: THE GOD DAMN ESCALATOE DOESN'T WORK (for OVER A YEAR!!!)!!!!!!!
I will be suing.
