I recently purchased a super-automatic espresso machine and Seattle Coffee Gear was recommended on an espresso machine owner FaceBook group I’m in. This company tests various whole beans and identifies those that are okay for use in espresso machines such as mine. I ordered 3 different brands of coffee beans, some cappuccino art stencils and a shaker. I was expecting to receive the order in 4-5 days but that didn’t happened. I sent an email, opened a ticket on their website and sent a message through FaceBook...no response! I called and was told the system was down. Days later, I finally got a response on FaceBook and was told they were waiting on fresh beans. That’s great, but quicker communication would have been nice. Out of the three brands of coffee beans I purchased, one was really oily. That’s what I was trying to avoid by going with Seattle Coffee Gear’s recommendations. It tasted pretty good but I’m scared they’re going to tear up my espresso machine. One of the other brands was disgustingly bitter, so that was money wasted. The third one was just okay. I’ll finish it but would not buy it again. I think this was my first and last time ordering from here, so I’ll need to find another option for my coffee needs.

You can sample some freshly made drip coffee before deciding on the bags! The experience is so adorable. It is a coffee flight!

SAM thank you! I went to SCG for the first time thinking about purchasing an espresso machine I looked at online. They had so many displays in the store, which I liked. One gentleman showed me where the machine I was looking at was displayed but really just let me be after. Then after looking around the store about ready to leave Sam asked how I was and offered to demo the machine. After having some conversation about what I really wanted a machine to do he showed me the Jura ENA 4. It was more expensive than the Phillips machine I thought I wanted but made great shots since Sam demoed it, and I didn’t feel like he was being an up seller. Sam provided excellent customer service experience and advice, even helped bring the box to my car! To think I was just about to leave the store, is crazy. I will be back and love my new toy. Thank you Sam!
