5 stars, if not for the scent of air freshener or perfumed cleaning products in the room and a bed that's a little firmer than my preference.
Remember the family-run roadside hotels of the '80s, lovingly run by mom and pop, where you actually felt like a guest?
It's been a long time since I had an experience that felt like that.
Just like those places, the decor is outdated, but well cared for and in good repair. Clean and tidy. Considerate updates like USB ports a-plenty on and around the bedside tables.
Friendly, helpful reception.
Fast internet.
This isn't luxury. It's exactly what it says it is... A no frills roadside motel.
And it's a great example of its category.

Loved staying here. The room was extremely comfortable, cute and cozy. Very clean and reasonably priced. I even stayed an extra night!! They had tea and coffee available in the office. Was a great place to stay to visit ONP.

The hotel is very clean but dated. Some updates have been done . Our room was very nice and had a look like a medieval motif. Wifi was not very good as we had a hard time connecting from our notebooks but cell phones were okay. The bed was a litte soft but other than that was a good place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful to recommend restaurants in the area.
