Seven Summits Lodge was stunning inside and out for a wedding venue! We immediately fell in love with the “Hawk’s Nest” since it was such a modern and fun spot for virtual golf, pool table and poker. The inside decor matched our vision without needing much in decorations as it was already beautiful. “Two Tides” was an indoor swimming pool area whereby the pool is covered and converted to a regular floor. Large vents remove the moisture the day before. We had no issues with humidity or chlorine smells. Most of the guests didn’t even know they were standing on top of a pool! The outdoor areas were perfectly manicured with flowers in bloom for photos. We had lots of different photo opportunities on the property by the pond, on the patio, or in front of the fireplace. This lead to lots of variety for posed and organic photos. The staff including the catering coordinator Paula were exceptional and efficient. They saw to our every need and made sure the day ran smoothly. We worked with Paula for months getting everything in order since there were constant changes with COVID but Paula was knowledgeable about current phase policies and always reassuring. She was on top of everything and saw to everything! Our day simply wouldn’t have been the same without her!
Furthermore, the location of the venue is in proximity to the airport which was perfect for guests flying in. Lastly, their wedding packages are unmatched for price and inclusions! We shopped around and they simply could not be beat. The package was truly all-inclusive with nothing that needed to be added. Yet, they were very flexible when it came to minor changes, especially with COVID. I’d even go as far as to say between their two packages—one size fits all; as it really did have everything you’d need from a venue. So in summary, do your research and shop around but Seven Summits Lodge will be your last stop, guaranteed!! Ps. Any previous bad reviews you read are about a manager that is no longer there. Everything in our contract was fully and throughly documented. It was updated constantly with every little revision that was discussed. We had no issues with poor customer service nor did we ever think our money was in poor hands.
Beware! We had the worsts experience at this venue! The manager Brittany, actually wrote our contract out in my x’s last name, not once but twice! She must have carelessly taken it off caller ID versus looking at the paperwork or listening to the information we gave her. Also, what we discussed in person was not actually on the contract. This was just the beginning. Once we paid, we were quickly forgotten. Once I reached out the manager, Brittany Riddell, she did not know who I was! When Covid hit they became exceedingly difficult to work with and wanted us to reschedule until next summer. We explained that at our age (in our 50’s) that we did not want to wait. Finally, when we asked for a refund, they became even more difficult, rude, and hard to get a hold of! It was very difficulty to a refund.
