I am only giving two stars because they initially provided good service when my fiancé died. However, when it came to going back to fix mistakes on his death certificate, Debbie, the owner of this establishment, was incredibly rude and refused to accept any responsibility for her error. She listed his state of residence incorrectly and, as it turned out, we've had difficulty using them. So we went back to inform her. She tried to say I gave her the incorrect information (I didn't; she didn't clarify) and when my mother and I told her how many copies of the new death certificate we would need, she quoted us a certain price (6 for $30). She told us she needed the copies back and I told her we only had 4 of the original copies, that I would bring them the next day. Her attitude was extremely rude including a "whatever" dismissal.
The next day I returned, bringing the four copies I had and she said I would get four new copies. I told her I had told her the previous day I needed six. She proceeded to tell me I would have to pay $16 each for the additional two. I told her I had told her the previous day we only had four copies, but would need six. She tried to tell me I hadn't (I had a witness to corroborate my version) and again was dismissed with a "whatever" before walking away.
She was fine at the beginning of the process, but refused to accept accountability for her mistakes and was incredibly rude when confronted with them. I consider this aspect unprofessional behavior and will be looking into filing a complaint with the appropriate licensing agencies.
