Got the chance to play Simi Hills today. Wow. What a fun golf course! Met 2 strangers on the first tee that became quick friends. The layout is fun and a lot of interesting decisions being made off the tee. A lot of strategically placed bunkers, too. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you play here. Know I’d make a few different decisions playing it a second time. But what a fun day of golf!!! Can’t wait to come back.

Good public course with reasonable rates. Beautiful scenery and maintained fairly well. The only downside I would say is that they don’t monitor pace of play. It took us 3.5 hours to play 14 holes. We ended up leaving due to darkness. We paid a twilight rate so that is ok. However, lots of hurry up and wait. If you go, try and go on off hours. It will be worth it.

Fun place to play. This is where I first picked up golf so it has a soft spot for me, but it just doesn’t get as much care as some of the other local courses. For the price point it makes it a great place to go and play when you’re just trying to sneak in a round or playing with people who are new to the game.
