So about 4 months ago I walked in here and bought 2 birth certificates one for myself and one for my daughter! My daughter finds a job and the job act like they don’t have it any more so I had to go in last week to buy a new one, I swear if you bought one this year, you shouldn’t have to pay twice plus that price is Ridiculous $25 for the certificate then $15 for a filling fee! This stuff is crazy all this to get my daughter a Washington state ID that even cost more than this!!!!

I am newbie homeowner and can't even begin to tell you how complicated permits, septic and all the regulations are. Having someone explain things in an easy to understand way is so important, and I have to say my experience with the SHD was great! I worked with Michael Wagner, who responded quickly via email, and even called me to make sure I understand the details. Often these agencies get a bad rep, I can tell you it's unjustified at least for Snohomish County.

Cannot get ahold of this place DURING business hours. I have called 2 different times (while they have been open) about getting a copy of my immunization records. I followed the phone prompts to immunizations. The first time I called, it was a lady who had recorded a message saying she was out of the office and would return August 29th. I called August 30th… Called twice on September 7th and again, same lady on a recorded message saying she was out of the office… but returning a different day this time. This time it was September 7th! So.. what this tells me is that no matter when you call, even if it’s during open business hours, you won’t be able to speak to anyone. Maybe take your phone number off if you aren’t going to answer the phone.
