We stayed in the American Black Bear room which is located right above the SoCal office on Pine Knot Street. The room is apartment like with a main bedroom that has the shower/toilet and vanity sink separate from the main living area. The kitchen is stocked with the basic cooking supplies along with dishes and utensils. The living area has a comfortable couch, a day bed and a slider rocking chair with foot stool. Also a dining table that seats three and a side desk. There is a gas fireplace too! It’s quite spacious and a big bonus is a portable air conditioner. The furnishings are rustic, cabin like with a forest/bear theme. The huge advantage is the location!!! It’s within walking distance to a variety of restaurants, shopping and entertainment. A movie theater is within 5 minutes and our favorite place was 572 Social that has continuous live music in a beautiful large outdoor patio from the afternoon into evening. The food was excellent too! I just can’t say enough about the location of our American Black Bear room. It was a great experience and we would like to stay there again next summer!

We had an amazing stay! The cabin was incredibly spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for our entire group. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities made us feel right at home. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed cooking meals together. The surrounding area was peaceful and picturesque, perfect for a weekend getaway. The hosts were responsive and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect retreat in a beautiful setting. We'll definitely be back!

Great 1 bedroom apartment right in the village at Big Bear Lake. It came with all the supplies like towels, toilet papers/paper towels, trash bags, etc. They even gave me new supplies once I used all of the ones they supplied at first for free. I really liked the hot tub with jets in the living room. Also the adjustable lamp, ac unit, heater, and that HUGE bed. The staff I dealt with was very kind and helpful! They answered texts pretty quickly and respond always trying to help. I appreciate that! And wish the best for this business!
