Stanford Children's at Palo Alto is the worst managed medical organization that I have ever experienced. No matter that it is prescription renewal or ask doctor a question, there is no prompt response. If you hear anything with 72 hours, you are lucky. They always mess up prescription, quantify or direction. There is no particular person that is in charge of your care. The doctor that we asked to call back never returned phone calls. Very unprofessional institution. Not up to the Stanford name.

I was charged more than $700 (with insurance) for a 45 min video visit with Nurse parctioner Aparna Bhandarkar, where my wife was asked about her and my family health backgrounds and Do's and Don'ts during pregency. Even if this was a pregency visit, Doctor's office didnt label it as pre-natal care as "it was 1st visit and they dont know if my wife is really pregnant". If this is the case, then I dont understand why did we discuss about pregency Do's, Don'ts through out the call.
