Preface: This was years ago and everyone was nice during the procedure. Seems like a good place overall! So no one with dental anxiety read this lmao I went to have a cavity filled and when I was being injected to be numbed , a family member of the dentist came in and they started having a serious conversation. I felt the needle go in a direction I had never and have never felt to this day. He quickly corrected. All seemed good at first. Then my face was numb and freezing cold for OVER A WEEK. Every breath was like ice even when I was next to a heater 😭 I called a few days later, receptionist said that happens occasionally, it’s fine if my throat isn’t swelling. I couldn’t chew or swallow the same for almost a month, I’ve had moderate on and off jaw pain since then but seems like this place has great reviews and I’m glad I didn’t push the issue further. The chewing could be from how I adapted and the jaw pain could be from me adapting and chewing differently for a month.
