We had a lovely experience dining at this restaurant with beautiful views. The service was fantastic. The items we ordered were very tasty, fresh and delicious. *If you are not from SF you will be surprised to see the additional surcharge to fund SF Employee Benefits Ordinance. Here it is 6.5% which is high compared to other places that charge 5% etc

We had a relaxing lunch here on a Tuesday in March. It was not busy at all, so we were able to sit at the corner table overlooking the Pier 39 sea lions.

My chippino was excellent and was more than enough to share; but, my wife had ordered the Fillet of Basa, which she found to be very bland in flavor - hence my 4-star Food rating. Our server was excellent, our meal was served in a timely manner and was nice and hot. We both enjoyed a glass of wine from their ample selection.

Wonderful view of the Golden Gate, Alcatraz and Marin County across the Bay.

My family went to Pier 39 for dinner. The restaurant is just a perfect spot! The ambiance is great. The place is spacious with spectacular views of the 20-minute fireworks. The food was good. I ordered pre-fixe dinner, but they were out of salmon. I was offered to try filet basa. Nah. But the rest of the food was excellent. I think they were understaffed that night. Service was a bit slow. I plan to go back when it's not a holiday.
