*Edit and an update, for those of us who like reading about this kind of thing: After the "T-Mobile Authorized Retailer" below commented on my review and asked me to reach out, I did. No response. It's been 2 weeks, and I suspect I will get no answer. It just adds to the "bot"/scammy vibe of the store, gives the feeling like they are trying to put on a facade of being the real deal but it's solely for posturing online. Stay away!
Yikes! Jaden at this store was pleasant at first, seemingly okay with answering basic questions about my plan having an extra charge on it. It was the middle of a weekday morning and I was the only person in the store, so it wasn't busy. I couldn't get a straightforward answer from Jaden so I thought maybe I had the wrong info, and called my friend to make sure I had the right info (she and I share the plan together, and she keeps track of charges). Jaden very rudely told me that since my friend wasn't a T-Mobile rep she couldn't help me, and that I should get off the phone with her. I was pretty surprised... it was such a weird, controlling request to direct at a customer, and he became visibly agitated and seemed borderline angry. I figured I was missing something obvious so tried to diffuse the situation by trying to clarify what I was asking, but it went downhill from there... he continued to act, for lack of a better term, shady, angry, and clearly didn't want to try to help me. The assistant manager then came over, which I was happy to see, thinking he'd at least explain and/or note his employee's strange behavior.... but he even admitted that he didn't hear even half of the conversation, and then sided with Jaden without showing the slightest interest in why I even came into his store. He also seemed upset. I ended up leaving shortly after that with no answers, much confusion and a very bad T-Mobile experience.
After reading reviews for this store, sounds like it's one of T-Mobile's subsidiaries operating under the T-Mobile name. Which would make sense, I feel like Jaden's training and customer service is not up to typical official "real" T-Mobile quality. Reviewers have said they have been scammed in the store, and I would say that Jaden's shady behavior seemed to fit with that, frankly. After thinking about it, it seems like when he realized I was not there to buy a phone/upgrade in some way, he actively tried to get me out the door. Again, yikes!
