Install agreement signed 4/25/2022 for 4.8 kW rooftop solar system Installation scheduled for 5/4/2022 Permission to Operate received from utility (LADWP) on 6/7/2022 System failed 8/18/2022, I was notified via the app So we were producing for just over 2 months Tesla was unable to get anyone on-site until 10/7/2022, nearly 2 months later. They did repair it - I think they had to replace all the panel micro inverters… So we were out of production for just under 2 months Things worked with minimal production until 4/10 So we were in production for about 6 months Then on 4/10 we stopped producing. I noticed in the app on 4/20 and created a customer support case. I was told the first they could send anyone was June 30. Even if they fix it the same day, this is a full 10 weeks from now.
To summarize, even IF they “fix” this system on 6/30, it will have been broken almost half the time we’ve owned it!
