My wife and I needed new keys made for our home. We stopped by The Home Depot in Santa Rosa today to get this done. Times have changed since the last time I had copies made. It's a self service job now. You insert the key into a machine and indicate how many you want, and the machine does the rest. The new key drops into the bottom and makes another if you desire. Then you check out and are on your way. The Home Depot is a massive store, but this is the only service I needed today and it was important it was done right. When we got home, the keys functioned perfectly to unlock our front door. The last hardware store we went to had an inferior machine and the keys did not work. The Home Depot provides all your hardware needs with high quality products and services from making keys to major projects.

Their delivery system is a mess!!! My delivery got cancel at the last minute. Although I asked for the day off at work and waited the entire day. The 2nd attempt I got three different emails and all three had a different day to deliver. The store didn’t know, the number I called didn’t know either. I had to cancel and get my money back and buy the appliance again to reset the system. The website wasn’t any help as well. From now I will buy at Lowe’s even though it’s further away and probably more expensive.

Santa Rosa Home depot associates are fine. This review goes out to supervisor of Customer support or Delivery Team department Lance C. unfortunately decided to burn a bridge vs keeping a customer. He was unprofessional and didn't quite listen to my problems vs just offering a lousy gift card. Sorry you have to take this one star review for Supervisor Lance C. poor customer support.
