I had a bike that needed a simple repair, and I wanted to get an estimate on something else as well. I dropped the bike off and told I would receive a call with an estimate within a couple days.
A week later, still no call so I called them. Got an estimate and was told they would work on it and have it finished by the next day. They once again said they would give me a call when it was ready. Another week goes by, again no call or contact at all so I call the store and get through. They tell me it's ready and I can come get it, great! So I go to the store to pick it up and they then tell me the price is about $6 more than I was quoted. Their response was only "I don't know why they would have quoted you that" and they refused to honor their quote.
Probably won't return to this store if I ever need bike supplies or repairs again. The staff weren't rude, but they just kinda stared at you when you walked in the door. A simple repair turned into several weeks of waiting and more expensive than I was told it would be. So far, the repair work seems good, but I've yet to get the opportunity to fully test my bike since getting it back.
Edit Response 12/23/23: This review was from a few years ago, not sure why the shop decided to respond to it now, several years later. Unfortunately no care or action was taken by the shop when the issue was brought to their attention, and when this review was posted, and there's not anything that they could do to fix the issue now. I do not recommend this shop.
