Beautiful store with gorgeous pottery, cookware and tableware. Plus, rare ingredients from Japan like smoked soy sauce, white tamari and sansho powder from a 135 year old sansho producer. Every item has a story here. Full disclaimer: I work here so I might be biased but it's one of my favorite places in LA :)

Super friendly and helpful folks that want to share their passion for Donabe cooking. I love coming here. So inspiring and makes me want to cook. They also sell a limited assortment of high quality ingredients. And I love that they give you a sheet of How To Use with most every item you buy. No need to translate or guess.
