I made an appt for my dishwasher door that was falling down fast instead of falling gently. About 1week before my appt, I receive a call from a man from Toms Appliance. He stated the hinges on my dishwasher were on back order so he could order them & come out to replace them when they come in. I said but you haven’t even looked at the dishwasher yet and I would prefer him to look at it before he orders parts I might not even need. He got very very rude with me and said he was trying to save me money etc. and was just plain unprofessional and disagreeable. I canceled the appt & had another company come out to look at it. He was here for 5 minutes and the door was fixed because the only thing wrong was a spring had come undone, all he had to do was reattach the spring. Thank goodness I stick with my gut & didn’t let Toms appliance swindle me out of hundreds of dollars. I’ve never been talked to the way Toms appliance talked to me simply because I wanted him to do his job. Do not use this business. Edit: After owner replied Wow. Didn’t your parents ever teach you not to lie? I most certainly called and had an appointment with your business which is why your number is in my incoming calls log.
