The terrain was challenging but it was a beautiful hike.

Amazing! Difficult trail--gradual incline for 6+ miles. Spectacular view. Mostly wooded for 2/3rds, then opens into sub-alpine before the last heave-ho to Marmot Pass.

By far one of my favorite hikes. Absolutely stunning and a great representation of the beauty and splendor of the Olympics. Starts with 1.5 miles by the peaceful sounds of the river. Incline gets steeper as you go. Beautiful vistas as your nearing the top and several nice campsites on the way up. The view from the top is nothing short of spectacular, and an awe inspiring reward for a tough hike up. Think I climbed 3700+ feet in 5+ miles. You gotta check this place out!
