I haven't even had a chance to be seen here, so my review is for general accessibility. I had been directed to call two phone numbers for scheduling with this department. I called and left a voicemail for a call-back, never received a response. I called again a few weeks later, was put on hold, and someone hung up (presumably accidentally) removing me from the cue. A month later, I'm calling again- waited in the cue for 42 minutes. A rep answered my call, asked me a few questions and was mid-sentence when she accidentally placed me back in the cue to wait again. Still on the phone now at 55 min.

Doctors there are top-notch. They are really great... if you manage to actually schedule that surgery. But administrative staff at Harborview is horrible. The surgery scheduler, Gazelle, tried very hard to not schedule my surgery. For the first time, she mentioned every reason to not schedule me for a surgery - although Dr. Weaver planned it himself, and I have excellent insurance. Then I had to schedule a follow-up surgery. This time, Gazelle simply broke every communication with me. She disappeared for two month and could not be contacted neither by e-mail nor by the phone. Eventually I informed her that I leave their practice for a different doctor. In two hours, she replied to me with a farewell e-mail. Overall, they make impression of people who did hard not to treat me.

I drive down from Bellingham to see Dr. Lu for my facial paralysis. She's a top notch doctor that really listens and curates the perfect plan to tackle issues I have. It took me almost 8 months to get in when I had Kaiser insurance and needed to have referrals approved. But so glad there is a surgeon that specializes in face paralysis.
