1.) This is not a Verizon Company store. Dont be fooled by the big deceitful or misleading store front Verizon letters. It is a Verizon Authorized Retailer. This is way way different, and they dont follow the same rules as Verizon company stores or Verizon in general.
2.) Don't believe or be fooled by the big red sign on the door that says: Broken phone? No problem, come on in. This is garbage as they will not help you properly file a claim and will lie about said claim taking longer to get a new phone or costing money when it would actually be a free claim and overnighted phone next day. This sign is a way to get you in and sell a new phone. They dont actually want to help you, but take your money and put you through the ringer.
3.) Worst "Verizon" experience ever in over 22 years of being a loyal VERIZON customer. Maybe you don't have authorized retailers brand your name on said retailers buildings.... Verizon...
4.) Awesome phrases I was told when I became a problem customer that wanted resolutions to the deceitful lies and what was done to me....
"Why would you bring a broken phone into our store instead of calling the insurance?" (This ones recorded 😆). Maybe cause you have a huge sign on the door telling me to dumb dumb....
"An insurance claim would take 3-4 days to get a new phone and cost $99" (not true. In my case, a manufacturer defect or software defect is free and covered by insurance "which I had at the time," and they would overnight a new phone the next day).
"You signed the contract, didn't you read it?" (Yeah, I read a 10+ page legal book in the 2 minutes you gave me to read it...)
"You were working with Mike, right? I can't help you at all. You have to talk to the guy who sold you the phone?"
5.) Of the 4 times I visited trying to get help and then resolutions to the bad help, I was given the 1st visit. I had entirely horrible experiences. I was mocked and talked down to in a demeaning and belittling manner multiple times. Only one person was helpful and gave me some resolutions that I was finally content with the situation and was gonna leave it be and move on. That was until tonight, with my 4th visit tonight ending horribly. I just left the place that they sent me to to fix my screen, and that place damaged the phone more. I did tell the person there, and they documented it and are going to fix it when they get the part in. I got home and went to put my screen protector on and noticed there was also an issue with the new screen they just put on, but their store was closed. I wanted the issue documented, so I went to the "Verizon" store and told them what just happened and asked if we could just make a note of the damage visually and put a note on my file. I was met with hostility and was accused of doing the damage. Then, there were some very unnecessary comments made in regards to past visits and me as a person. This is how you treat someone who you just stole over $1000 from.... Unless the owners reach out and make things right, I will never visit this store ever again, and I will make sure no one I care about, or don't care about doesn't as well.
