Some (<50%) primary care providers utilize Maslow's theory on group dynamics, or understand how to facilitate information. Just keep hitting that next button on your primary physician. Good doctors exist in the system, but it's a wasteful process on both patient time and taxpayers money. I wish I could be selected by my doctor based on the questions I want answers to. Instead I just have to keep hitting next and asking the same thing.
It's better than nothing, but severely flawed in implementation. Can be very effective if you know how to use it, or if you only want healthcare for things already addressed and isolated. Their documentation practices impose a severe bias, atleast in my case.
Veterans deserve better than my experience, but your experience will vary depending on your primary provider and your ability to communicate.
