The pharmacy is not open during the posted business hours. I arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday to a sign that stated the pharmacist won’t be working today and that they’re closed. This seems unacceptable. It’s not helpful to visit another pharmacy as the prescriptions are filled at THIS location. This leaves people without access to medication which can clearly be a serious problem. This is not the first time that they close their pharmacy at random—there is never any information as to why it is constantly shut down during random hours of the day, which leaves folks confused.
Stopped in at 1:33pm on a Saturday to pickup a prescription. We just switched from Kaiser so I wasn’t aware they weren’t open. The cage was semi shut while they were helping a customer and I was trying to understand why this gate was partially open. The gentlemen they helped walked out and a girl followed him, she didn’t say a word although she saw me standing there trying to figure out their hours or if I need to enter another way as she closed the gate. The gentleman said, the close 1:30-2, I don’t know why she didn’t say anything, she saw you standing there. Same guy, same!
Annoying but whatever, I’ll come back. We came back when they opened and they didn’t have our insurance information apparently. I gave her my medical card but it was the wrong card and not for prescriptions. I don’t expect her to have this information but the willingness to try and help was none existent. I then stepped out of line and called my insurance, in the mean time, 2 more customers walked away pissed off at the staffs customer service skills. I go back up and see someone sitting at the drive thru for 5+ min. One technician told a co-worker about the customer and she said, “I know, I’m waiting for her to ring the bell.” The ability of this location to practice even the basic customer service skills is nonexistent. Why work with people and in the medical field if you can’t even handle a customer asking to add other items to her purchase? Truly find a new career or get over yourself.
What kind of Walgreens closes at 6 on Saturdays, especially for such a busy area with such limited pharmacy options in the surrounding areas? The whole point of Walgreens for me has been the convenient hours and relatively convenient locations. I guess that is over, like my patronage of this company.
