We just stayed three nights. The staff was very friendly, we got exceptional service from Lindsey at the front desk, and Reina, who was in the lounge.
Location was great, just a very short 1 mile to 2 mile ride to the center of Walnut Creek, which had a bunch of great restaurants. we took a day trip to San Francisco, and Muir Woods both on the same day. Everything is very accessible.
Not quite walking distance to the shopping and downtown Walnut Creek area but it’s a very close drive. The rooms were sort of updated and not. The bathroom could use a refresh. Bed was comfy and it might’ve just been the location of our room, but it was pretty quiet and we were even by elevators. The valet crew is super nice and the front desk was too. One guy though had no idea how to direct me to the gym. He knew the floor but when I asked where to go from the elevator he seemed stumped and said to go towards the pool…I assumed there would be signage to the pool and just took that as the directions.
Certain rooms come with free breakfast, which is standard bacon, eggs, fruit, bagels. Nothing exciting but the food was better than expected. They have a lot of free canned drinks and bottled water in the concierge lounge too
