This is a good campground to use as a base camp when visiting the area, as long as the fair is not going on. We normally end up with a large back-in with the 50AMP full hookups in the back. Bring lots of extension cord, water, and sewer hose. Once we were in a side-by-side pull thru and had to run the water hose underneath while the sewer and electric were on the proper side.

For the surrounding area, this is the best available rv park. It's more a grass field with full hookups. As for the host, she is awesome! As long as you are following the rules and are respectful you will be okay. The camp host is always a better ally than an enemy. Be nice and don't act out of pocket and you will be just fine. LOCK your doors on the weekends! Sticky fingers strolling nearby on the dark back road at night.
