I like this place solely because they have been around for a while. They belong to the Ma and Pa clan of kind, gentle store owners.free inspections.

My friend bought a vintage watch that has never worked. She took it back multiple times and was finally told it had moisture in it and therefore she will need to pay 175 to fix. Mind you the watch was 125 ( paid in cash of course). The watch never worked and they expected me to bring it back over and over despite their unusual hours which is when we both work. Not cool and disappointing as we always try and support local owned business.

I have twice paid them more than $20 to change the battery in a basic Timex watch. Separated by a couple years, the two incidents ended badly for me. Each time there was a promise that if the new battery didn't make the watch go I wouldn't have to pay for it. And each time, for a different cobbled together reason, they insisted I play for it when the watch didn't go despite their promises. I wish I'd read the negative reviews on Yelp before I went the first time. But as I hadn't, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After being mislead a second time, I read the reviews and saw how many people have been cheated by them.
