I started seeing Lindsay Daehlin in July 2019 for trauma, anxiety and depression. Over the last 10 months she has helped me in the most unassuming, kind and insightful ways. She has a wisdom and persona that has helped to propel, heal and calm me. Creating a confidence, peace of mind, and ability to became so much more effective in my life. I am 66 and have been in therapy a few times over the years, some of them were excellent, some not so much. But I have never had any therapist help me like Lindsay has. She is just really exceptional.

My husband and I with our children just moved to the area and were looking for guidance regarding all the transitions our family is facing. We needed virtual and were happy to find a place that offered virtual sessions. We scheduled with a therapist and we understood that the first session would need to be in person and we were completely fine with that. After the intake we never hear from the therapist in regards to scheduling. In fact during the intake we we’re transparent about our schedule needing virtual and after 5pm. Well since we had not heard anything in regards to scheduling we reached out to the office to schedule. When we called in unbeknownst to us the therapist we had the intake with only worked M-W until 12 noon. Well had that been communicated to us during the intake we would have said this therapist will not work for our schedules. Already we were not being communicated with effectively and us getting better at communicating is the exact guidance we were looking for since we have so many moving parts going on in our lives with the move, new jobs, our kids school etc. This was not a good start. When I spoke with the owner she did apologize and was able to get the therapist we had the intake to give us a consistent appointment at 6pm once a week. Well the day of that first appointment my husband and we never received a link for our virtual appointment. A few minutes before our appointment we emailed the therapist and called the office to obtain a link and we did not get a hold of anyone. Around 10min after the scheduled time the therapist called us. I told him that we emailed and called to get the link and he proceeded to tell me it was in an email over a month ago, an email that had several other topics within the thread of email. The bottom line is we are disappointed that we came to a wellness company based on the 5 stars they have as well as they have therapist that use Gottman modalities when facilitating therapeutic treatment and their communication which is the basic foundation for any relationship was subpar. Communication for any relationship is key and we were let down in this basic area of professionalism.

I was looking for grief counseling for my child. Wellness Therapies was a disappointment. Very disorganized and unprofessional. Poor communication when scheduling appointments and does not return calls. I was told a supervisor would call me back on Monday to discuss my concerns and it is Friday.
The sessions with the therapist were not even attempting to address my child’s grief and I was told that is my child’s fault for not steering the session in that direction.
I would think an experienced counselor would know how to conduct a session and help a child that was reluctant to talk about difficult things.
