I want to give a shout out to head nurse Anne. My mother is fighting brest cancer. Anne has gone above and beyond to make sure that our family was well informed and this is our second visit and again she has done an amazing job.

It took 11 days, and me calling more than 5 times for Jaimie Mellor to get back to me regarding my broken ribs. I’ve been seeing Dr.’s at Whitman Medical for over 20 years and have never been treated this way. Her advice is movement to heal. Kinda hard to move with broken ribs. I feel like an ignored statistic. I did not ask for pain medication, but it would have been really nice to have gotten something to relieve some of the pain so I can move to begin the healing process. I do have to commend the nurses who have to work with her. If she blatantly disregards her patients the way she disregarded me, I can only imagine how she treats them.
I will not be going back. My trust with Whitman Medical is lost. A Dr. Or any other medical professional takes an oath to provide care to their utmost diligence for their patients. And Ms. Mellor failed me when I needed her and believed in her.

I had great experiences until having to see a new provider, Jamie Mellor/Van Tine, when I was injured in late July (its now December). I never received my August x-ray results. I called several times only to be told "they were not signed." Eventually my PT was able to get me my results through his mechanisms. Next, it took over a month for my MRI to be ordered. Again, I called several times to find out what the issue was and kept being told to wait. I finally made an appointment with a different provider to see if he could tell me if there were any issues on the clinic's end or if it was an insurance hold up. Interestingly enough, I was called the next week by radiology to set up an appointment. It took me paying money for another appointment/provider simply to ask if someone else could make sure my referral was actually put in. Here I am a week later waiting on MRI results. They have been read and signed by a radiologist but they are "not signed" by Mrs. Van Tine so I cannot know my results. I have called twice to figure out why she has not looked at my results which is needed so I can get an orthopedist referral. I am transferring care to a clinic that does not hire providers who willfully neglect their patients. I cannot believe the (lack of) care I've received here. I have great respect for medical professionals and this is extremely disappointing. My animals receive better care from their veterinarians. Edit: Probably also prudent to add that during my follow-up appointment, where I was of course charged for the visit, I never had the opportunity to talk to her. It was a student the whole time.
