The checkout experience is so bad here. This was my first time using an in-store code as Prime member to pay in a shop. I couldn't find a place to scan it, so I asked the cashier several times for double checking whether this works properly. She became very impatient and almost yelled at me while slapping the machine, saying, 'Scan here!' There were many places to scan at the counter, so I didn’t notice the sign, but I was treated very rudely.
Besides me, the lady in front of me at the checkout seemed unsure whether she could scan her card, and the cashier spoke to her in a very unpleasant tone, saying, 'You cannot scan a credit card.'
I am very disappointed with the attitude of this cashier, who has beautiful nails and short gray hair, towards customers. Maybe she isn't happy with her job here.
This is a fun store to shop in. It's trendy and upscale, offering everything you could want to stock your pantry, throw a dinner party or picnic, get your snack on, fulfill your grocery list, buy a unique gift, grab a coffee and pastry or a hot meal. The produce dept is an absolute joy, both visually and in scope and quality. Live flowers, herbs and plants decorate the department and are for sale. The store is brightly lit and clean from to to bottom. The employees are well trained and knowledgeable and seem to take personal responsibility for the store. I was very skeptical of the Amazon buy out but it's actually been an improvement. Amazon did away with that awkward shelf only policy for restocking and offers a discount to Prime members on sale items. Fresh fruit offered to all children. My granddaughter loves this perk. Personal products, to, and clothing are also available. Large wine department with good recommendations. If this review was helpful, please LIKE. Thank you!
