VERY quiet place. There is no cell signal here, at least not Verizon. The sites were more private than any others campgrounds we have been to.
It seemed the site was trimmed before we got there, as we walked around the open sites were pretty grown up with weeds. We were in Site #5 and even for a small 20' camper like ours, it was a challenge to get it backed in due to the angle of the parking spot to the road. The roads around the campground are very narrow and muddy. This is why I dropped it to 4 stars. There were several sites that were located on a bend in the road so they would be much easier to back into. It looked like many of the sites that were along the creek had direct access to the water. Ours had a short path from the site to the creek that was maybe 40-50 ft long and we had a nice little spot to access the creek and enjoy that as well.
Something that shocked up being the secluded was the lack of animals. We heard birds, but never say any other animals. Even when we left some bread out overnight, it did not get taken.
