Almost every week I’ve had to contact WM about missed pickups. Either it’s yard waste not being picked up when scheduled or it’s recycling. Garbage is not what I should have concerns about on a weekly basis but here it is to the point where I’ve installed surveillance cameras just to see if the garbage is being picked up weekly.

Consistent service. With holidays or snow, WM seems to be a communicative as possible. Never had an issue with them in town, even when calling to set up service or get new bins.

Repeated calls to WM customer service resulted in no action in the field. It took WEEKS for the extra recycling can we ordered to finally get dropped, and when it was finally dropped off, they dropped off (2) recycling cans. There were legitimate service interruptions due to weather this winter, however, WM continued to skip pickups, claiming "weather delay" (and it was sunny). I would happily sign a petition to replace Waste Management with Green Waste, or just about any other provider. Monopolies give consumers little choice, particularly in Nevada County.
