Peninsula Appliance Repair
My dishwasher needed to be repaired. The place where I purchased my dishwasher scheduled Peninsula Appliance Repair to do the job. I called Peninsula Appliance and scheduled a day for them to come out. While doing this, I asked the lady making the appointment if they would be able to fix it the same day. She said yes, and in most cases, the repair person would have enough parts in their car to do the job. The repairman came out as scheduled on time but was unable to fix my dishwasher as he did not have the part and had to order it. He said it would take four days and I would be contacted. Four days came and went with no contact, so I initiated the call and contacted Peninsula Appliance to ask if they had the part or when they would have it. I was told it was not under warranty and that they would not be coming out to fix it. I asked why I was not contacted in the beginning when they found this out, just out of common courtesy. I was told this is not our business practice and that I needed to contact my warranty department, which I did. I explained what happened and at this time they told me that they never received anything from Peninsula Appliance. I have rescheduled with my warranty department and told them I do not want Peninsula Appliance Repair to do any work on my appliance. I will make sure to take note if any of my appliances in my house need to be repaired, as Peninsula Appliance Repair will not be doing the work. If I could give Peninsula Appliance Repair five stars, I would for wasting my time, not completing a job, and providing garbage customer service. I believe all the bad reviews!
