We bought a pellet stove from J & L a couple of years ago because we wanted to keep our business local. I tried arranging for them to service it this year but after leaving two messages and calling half a dozen times with no response I gave up. I called Woodstove Warehouse on a recommendation and they set up an appointment within the week, they were reasonably priced, the tech was very professional and friendly, I will definitely be using them for our needs in the future.

I have done business with J&l for years-got a lopi stove from them 25 years ago. They are very nice people . The stove is great with very little maintenance. I decided to go propane - no more cutting wood . He came out did a bid all set. I offered to put money down, she said no. We waited. I called and got no return call. I drove over and talk to her. She said that by April the stove will be here. She said they got a virus in their computer and lost all their contacts. We waited until the end of April and no one has made contact with us. Not a way to run a business. I guess they don’t want my money. I went with a different company.
