This campground is beautiful because it’s right next to Lake Roosevelt. I did go on the Fourth of July weekend, so it was pretty packed. Only downside was very small beach area and the mosquitoes relentless.

I haven't been camping in 22 years or lived in this area in that long. Came to Kettle Falls on vacation and thought that taking my 7 year old camping would be a great experience. Things were going great until the camp host ruined it for us all. He did not talk to us in a professional manner and through a tantrum even putting his hand on someone in our party when trying to get his point across. All he had to do was tell us where guest parking was and say not to park on the grass. Pretty ironic though because he himself is parked on the grass at his campsite. He even had the park ranger call us on our cell to discuss the situation. He didn't go harass the next campsite who took a picnic table from a vacant campsite so they would have 2 tables. I will not be back here and I will not encourage others to come either.

Good campground, it's a bit noisy early in the day because of the boat ramp being so close. Also kids from town visit the ramp late into the night.
