I’ve been looking for a new bike for over a month. Geoffrey helped me demo 3 bikes after demoing bikes at other bike shops. He made several adjustments due to the feel of the bikes. Most importantly he asked questions. He identified my must haves vs what he had available. He talked me out of a more expensive bike because it didn’t have the derailleurs I was looking for and that was a top priority for me. He was able to order what I wanted even though it wasn’t listed online as available.
In the end I felt extremely confident in the decision I made because I tested the bikes, adjusted them and wasn’t sold I was advised.

I want to send a shout out to Sal. My Wilier Zero 7 (bought at Mike's 11-12 years ago) had a catastrophic rear derailleur hanger failure that affected the frame. Sal and his team tried everything to resolve the issue but sadly there was nothing that they could do without potentially causing more harm than good. During the entire process they kept me in the loop with calls/updates. When I picked up my bike they were generally saddened by the potential loss of a special (to me) bike. The bike has over 26,000 miles and 3.5 million feet of climbing so she has been crucial part of my life for the last ten years. She will now rest in a place of honor on my wall. Thank you Sal and thank you Mikes Bikes you have been part of her life from birth to retirement.

I purchased a modern road bike from Mike's Bikes and appreciated the time and attention they gave to help me understand the new technologies, designs and looks of modern road bikes. Shout-outs to Geoffrey and Saul for their patience in responding to all of my bike questions and also to the techs who since my purchase, have taken great care of my bike!
