I walked by this place a walking my dog. It's very simple to get to from the parking lot, just a few feet. Entering the river looks very easy, couple of nice people there to help you (heard them talking to potential renters), prices were something like $18 for a single canoe and 22 for a double canoe for first hour. The river was flowing well, looked medium-speed to me but I saw a couple paddling upstream so it must have been fairly decent going up or downstream. Looked good for beginners as long as you could paddle. I'm going to get my husband and go back and one of the next couple weekends.
