Former rail linr trail that is black topped for 4 miles at the South Bend end and 5.5 miles at the Chehalis end. Runs through farmland and crosses a couple of rivers several times on nice bridges. Once you leave the Lewis county end the trail is rough and you should have a mountain bike to ride it and be experienced. Rocks are large and sharp in that section. Trail from Chehalis to PeEll is nice and goes through the Rainbow Falls Park, which is beautiful.

The wheelpaw hills trailhead travels quite a long distance and is accessible by many spots there are many restroom facilities along this walk it is paved and does run along some beautiful scenery thus through the woods along the river and along some of the city streets This is a great place to take the family ride a bike roller skate walk your dog or just get out for a nice serene walk I have never encountered any problems on this trail and all of the people seem to be nice and friendly

Very nice trail to walk dogs on as well as biking and jogging
