Really enjoyed this location. Usually go to the original below ground level restaurant but felt to give this one a shot. Great food and it feels more upscale, but still has a lot of the ghibli art work.

Such a cool anime place that serves Japanese food. We got curry and sushi and 5/5 recommend. Portions are generous. If you get a large curry, good for two people! I like that separate the rice from the curry - so the katsu doesnt get soggy. Sushi is real good. Lots of seating and space. Cool artwork and they had spirited away playing.

Food is good, though the menu is very basic. The decor is horrible, they need a interior designer badly. Exposed edges, bad choices and hodgepodge arrangement. Bar in front is a supply cabinet. Slow service, waited a long time for our check and not very attentive. All while the owner watches you tube in the back.
